As I sit at my desk my first thoughts are of ants. Every so often an ant walks by my keyboard - and I must add he encounters his untimely demise. During the day we have many types of birds hanging around; humming birds (I guess they don't know the words), black birds, sparrows and others. Often we have dear in our front yard, back yard or side yard. There is a family of Raccoons that always strolls by at night. I rescued a mouse some weeks ago from being trapped in a large flower pot he could not have escaped from without help. I hear Owls at night too. There is always a spider or two hanging around, plus a couple of moths are never far from a lighted window in the evening. Opps I almost forgot the Squirrels - big like cats but very healthy looking with great shinning reddish coats and fluffy tales. We've got dogs close by and sometimes our neighbors dog will wander into our house just to say hi.
If i could talk to the animals, just imagine it chatting to a........
